A respectful, English-guided Sak Yant experience in central Sukhumvit — or a full-day private temple tour to Wat Bang Phra. Sterile single-use needles, traditional Khata blessing, transparent pricing. สวัสดีครับ — welcome.
The most commonly requested sacred tattoos and what each one offers spiritually. Your master will help you choose the right design for your situation during the free consultation.
The 5 sacred lines — charisma, success, protection, luck and influence. Often a first Sak Yant.
The 9 spires representing the 9 Buddhist deities. Maximum protection and universal blessings.
8 sacred directions — protection wherever your travels take you, and clarity of decision.
Twin tigers — fearless courage, command and presence. Popular with leaders and athletes.
Buddha amulet — meditative calm, wisdom and a daily reminder of the path.
Naga serpent — Northern Thai style protection, abundance and water blessing.
Four things make the difference between a real Sak Yant and a tourist tattoo — and we deliver them every time.
Your tattoo is done by an Ajarn trained for 7 years inside a Wat Bang Phra-affiliated samnak, with 20+ years of practice under recognized monks.
Single-use sterile needles opened in front of you and fresh ink poured per session. The same hygiene standard you'd expect from a Western clinic.
The master chants the traditional Khata mantra over your Yant while it is being inked. You leave with a true sacred tattoo, not a decorative copy.
A 15-minute consultation in English helps you choose the right Yant for your situation, and the post-tattoo Khor Ham rules are explained in writing.

Before the session, the master spends 15 minutes with you to discuss your situation, intention and life path, then recommends the Yant and the placement that fit you best.
You're welcomed at the studio (or driven to Wat Bang Phra), the offering tray is prepared, and the master opens a fresh sterile needle and new ink in front of you.
The Yant is hand-poked using the traditional method while the master chants the Khata mantra to activate it. Most designs take between 30 minutes and 2 hours.
You receive a written list of the Khor Ham (lifetime prohibitions tied to your Yant), an aftercare balm and clear English instructions for healing over the next 2 weeks.
Our studio sits on Sukhumvit Soi 11, a 5-minute walk from BTS Nana and a short ride from Asok interchange. Most clients come from the central tourist and expat districts, and we also drive guests out to Wat Bang Phra in Nakhon Pathom for the full temple tour.
We regularly welcome clients staying in or based in these Bangkok neighborhoods:
Everything we get asked the most before a Sak Yant session. Don't see your question? WhatsApp us.
Look for a master with a named lineage, transparent pricing, sterile single-use needles and a real Khata blessing during the tattoo. Our Ajarn was trained for 7 years at a Wat Bang Phra-affiliated samnak and has been tattooing for over 20 years. You'll see his credentials, his work and the studio before you commit.
Yes. We open a brand-new sterile single-use needle in front of you for every client and pour fresh ink for each session. Our studio follows the same hygiene standards as a professional Western tattoo studio, with single-use gloves, disposable trays and proper disinfection of all surfaces.
A Sak Yant is a real tattoo and is meant to be permanent. It can technically be removed with laser like any other tattoo, but spiritually it is considered a lifelong commitment. We strongly encourage you to take the consultation seriously before you book.
Absolutely. Foreigners of any background or faith are welcome to receive a Sak Yant, as long as you approach it with respect for the tradition. The master will explain the meaning of the Yant and the Khor Ham (rules) so you can decide with full understanding.
Our prices range from 2,800 THB for a small Yant to 7,000 – 9,500 THB for large or custom designs. The most popular traditional Yants (Hah Taew, Gao Yord, Paed Tidt) sit between 3,800 and 5,800 THB. The full Wat Bang Phra temple tour is 11,500 THB all-inclusive.
When you join our temple tour, the 11,500 THB package already covers transport, translator, the master fee and the offering tray. You don't need to negotiate or hand extra cash to anyone on site. If you visit the temple on your own, expect 80–100 THB for the offering tray plus an open donation to the monk.
It depends on what you want the Yant to support — protection, charisma, success, mental strength, etc. Hah Taew (5 lines) is the most universal, Gao Yord (9 spires) is the highest protection Yant, Paed Tidt protects you in the 8 directions of travel. The master will guide you in the consultation.
The hand-poked method is sharper but more rhythmic than a tattoo machine. Most clients describe it as very manageable, with a meditative quality once the Khata starts. A small Yant takes 20–30 minutes, larger pieces 1–2 hours.
You choose the placement together with the master. By tradition, sacred Yants are not placed below the waist and Buddha imagery should not sit on the lower body. The upper back, chest, shoulder blades, ribs and upper arms are the most traditional locations.
Surface healing takes about 7–10 days, full healing around 2–3 weeks. We provide an aftercare balm and written English instructions: keep it clean, no soaking in pools or the sea, no scratching, and avoid direct sun until healed.
Every Yant comes with lifetime rules that protect its power — typically things like not insulting your parents, not stealing, not betraying loved ones, and similar moral commitments. You receive the full list in writing in English so you know exactly what you're agreeing to before the tattoo starts.
Our Ajarn was trained in the central Thai Wat Bang Phra tradition (Nakhon Pathom), starting with a 7-year apprenticeship at a Wat Bang Phra-affiliated samnak followed by ongoing study with senior masters. He has over 20 years of experience and specializes in Hah Taew, Gao Yord, Paed Tidt and Suea twin tigers.
Yes. The Khata mantra is chanted over your Yant while it is being inked — this is what activates it as a sacred tattoo rather than a decorative one. Without the Khata, it is not considered a real Sak Yant.
Tipping is not required — our quoted price already includes the master fee fairly. If you feel personally moved to offer something extra, 200–500 THB or a small offering is appreciated, but never expected.
During low season (Mar–Oct) we can often accommodate same-day or next-day requests. In high season (Nov–Feb) we recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks ahead. A 1,000 THB deposit confirms your slot and is deducted from the final price.
Send us your travel dates and the design that speaks to you. We'll reply within 2 hours during office hours with availability, a recommended Yant, and everything you need to know before your session.
